What is Ayurveda
Ayurveda , that is the restoration of mental and physical health. It helps to eliminate chronic fatigue, alleviate stress, eliminate chronic diseases, and rejuvenate the body and beauty. Ayurveda , which is an ancient teaching on life and at the same time an alternative to traditional medicine originating in India, focusing on 4 main components of human health: exercise, diet, sleep, and massages.
Ayurvedic massage is a unique way to relax and rejuvenate both mind and body. It teaches us that health comes from perfect balance. When disrupted by stress, fatigue, climate change, or other influences, the body becomes more susceptible to illness.
Ayurveda says that every person is made up of five elements – ether, air, fire, water, and earth. Their harmony creates life force. It is precisely through Ayurvedic massage that we can get closer to this balance. It is primarily about oil massage with warm herbal oils , which are chosen according to the client's needs. They promote relaxation, detoxification, and energy renewal. The masseur combines traditional techniques – gentle strokes, tapping, or kneading – so that the effect is as deep as possible.
Unlike conventional massages, Ayurvedic massage offers a whole range of benefits: deep relaxation, detoxification, strengthening immunity, increasing vitality, rejuvenation, improving skin, and reducing stress and fatigue.

History of Ayurvedic medicine
Ayurveda means "the science of life" and deals with the principles of a healthy lifestyle. It has its origins in Indian sacred scriptures (the Vedas) and emerged as an expression of the enlightenment of sages (rishis). The first mention of Ayurvedic medicine, called Charaka Samhita, dates back to the 1st century AD. The second text, Sushruta Samhita, is about Ayurvedic surgery and dates from about 100 years after the first mention. The third most important Ayurvedic work, Ashtanga Hridayam, is estimated to be from the 7th century AD and summarizes the first two works.
Around the 5th century AD, Ayurvedic medicine spread to all parts of the then-known world (China, Tibet, Persia, Arabia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome). In these countries, Ayurveda blended with local traditions and the treatment options available in each region, gradually giving rise to the precursors of medical schools in certain places. Of course, one cannot yet speak of medicine and scientific knowledge as we know them today; it was a sort of endeavor to understand diseases and their treatment using available means and knowledge.
Energies that control the functioning of the body
Everyone inherits a unique mix of three doshas. However, one energy is usually stronger than the others. Each of them controls a different bodily function. It is believed that the chances of disease and health problems affecting you are related to the balance of your doshas.
Vata Dosha
If you practice Ayurveda, you know that this energy is considered the strongest of all three doshas.
It controls basic bodily functions, such as cell division. It also controls the mind, breathing, blood flow, heart function, and the ability to eliminate toxins through the intestines. Things that can disturb the vata dosha include fear, sadness, and waking up too late.
If the vata dosha is your primary life force, you will be more likely to develop anxiety, asthma, heart disease, skin problems, and arthritis.
Pitta Dosha
This energy controls digestion, metabolism, and some hormones associated with appetite.
Things that can disrupt pitta dosha include sour or spicy foods and excessive sunbathing in direct sunlight.
If the pitta dosha is the primary life force, it is believed that you are more likely to develop Crohn's disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, and infections.
Kapha Dosha
This life force controls muscle growth, body strength and stability, weight, and your immune system.
It can be disrupted, for example, by sleeping during the day, excessive consumption of sweet foods, or drinks with a high salt content.
If kapha dosha is your main life energy, you may develop asthma and other respiratory disorders, cancer, diabetes, nausea after eating, and obesity.
